MMAP R & R - Dayton, Iowa
5 Stars  This place was Amazing visited Aug 26, 2007
We arrived on Sunday afternoon for the R & R. It had rained and one whole section of RV parking was flooded. We volunteered to park "up the hill" (which was really not a hill) where there was only 20amp electric. It rained one day during our stay and when we all got ready to leave on Thursday several rigs had to be pulled out in the 30amp section. Glad we weren't parked there.

My favorite place to camp - Babbitt, Minnesota
5 Stars  This place was Amazing visited May 28, 2007
We drove north on I-35 on Memorial Day. Those that were traveling that day were going the other way so we had a good trip. We parked at my sister’s place outside of Babbitt. Eric had trimmed the trees back so that we could snuggle right into the birches.

Staying at Jeannie's - Lino Lakes, Minnesota
5 Stars  This place was Amazing visited May 9, 2007
We arrived! Feels good to be in one place for a while. In Lino Lakes we park next to my daughter’s house. Normally we have full hook-ups, but this time the water pipes had frozen over the winter and had to be repaired so we spent ten days using the pump and the tank on our RV. This is the first time we have gotten here early enough to enjoy the lilacs. No rain, the grass was dry when we pulled into her yard.

Cabela's - Clinton Falls, Minnesota
4 Stars  This place was Great visited May 8, 2007
We stayed the night in Cabela’s parking lot. They have one lot set aside just for RVs. One reason for stopping there was so that we could get our chocolate fix at the Russel Stover Candy store. And of course it’s always interesting to browse through Cabela’s.
Not many rigs
Had to shop at the Russel Stover Store

Cutty's Camping Club - Des Moines, Iowa
4 Stars  This place was Great visited May 7, 2007
Weather radar showed storms all the way up I-35, but since it was also going to last three days we decided to make a run for it. Amazingly we did not see a drop of rain the whole rest of the trip. North of Kansas City the highway was still wet from a storm that had just gone through, but the rain had stopped by the time we got there. All day we saw threatening clouds and flooded rivers, but no rain. At three p.m. when it was time to stop for the night we decided to keep going to keep ahead of the storms. We stayed at Cutty’s, a Coast to Coast Park, northwest of Des Moines that night.

Silly goose thought he was a rooster.
